We boarded a small boat with a captain, diver and his family. We bought a bucket of beer for $20 US which kept us going through the day. There were also changing rooms to use if you wanted. There are fresh water showers for you to rinse off after going in the sea. The place itself is so cool and has a real beach vibe. So if you do plan on coming, try to avoid a day where there are cruise ships docked as it’s much quieter and relaxing. We have spent thousands coming to Barbados and this small amount of $35 ended up being the best day we spent on the island! Firstly, we nearly had the place to ourselves as there were no cruise ships. We spent the day at Harbour Lights where we paid $35 US per person for a sunbed, umbrella and turtle tour. We were staying on the island and decided to give Carlisle Bay a visit.
